Biography
Angela Orasch is a Policy Practitioner and PhD Candidate (ABD) in Political Science. Her academic interests include the politics of surveillance technologies, the legislative/regulatory space(s) of digital rights, and critical urban politics. As a Practitioner, she has worked with the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Ontario and the City of Toronto as a Technology Policy Advisor and Privacy Specialist.
Angela was a lead investigator in the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada’s Smart City Privacy Project with Dr. Sara Bannerman and the Director of the GAGED Forum on Arts and Economic Development.
Angela holds a B.A. in Political Science from McMaster University and an M.A. in Political Science from York University
